Washington Park – a kids eye view

Click picture to go to the Washington Park mini-site.

We have some great parks in Lakewood.  Our parks provide safe places where kids can play and learn. The city does a great job keeping them maintained and user-friendly.   This summer, the kids at the Computer Clubhouse are taking on some parks related projects.

  1. They are developing a media-centered website about the Fort Steilacoom Park Discovery Trail.  This site, full of historical information,  will debut in the fall
  2. They are also creating mini-sites about our lesser known, but equally wonderful parks.

You can check out the mini-site about Washington Park HERE. Even better, check it out in person.
