Here is what is happening for the week of March 8th, 2010.
ARE YOU READY TO
Registration is going on THIS WEEK! Wagons are limited! Businesses, groups, clubs and organizations are encouraged to sign up to sponsor a wagon. Imagine taking a classic RadioFlyer© wagon and turning it into a work of art. How cool is that? You can paint, decorate, weld, re-engineer, add a backdrop, craft, and redesign the wagon to your heart’s content and be part of a unique city-wide art contest. Wagons will displayed inside/outside of your business for seven weeks where numerous “wagon-critics” of all ages will informally vote on the creativity of your art work. After an awards and recognition reception in June, the wagons will be auctioned off at Lakewood’s Summer-Fest, providing another opportunity for Lakewood residents to find out more about you business, your commitment to youth, and your wagon creation.
