In anticipation of National Mentoring Month, Lakewood’s Promise is collecting “mentoring” stories. We are looking for stories of caring adults who helped you become who you are. Whether you called that adult coach or teacher, pastor, uncle, boss or friend you know they had a profound effect on you and there is a story to be told to honor them and the time they took for you.
There are kids in Lakewood who need mentors. Lakewood’s Promise hopes that your stories will inspire adults to get involved and to make a commitment to be a mentor for these kids.
